Our Climate Our Health Webinar: Update and Planning for 2018

In only twelve months, health organisations and health professionals supporting the Our Climate, Our Health campaign for a National Strategy on Climate, Health and Well-being for Australia have achieved more than we could ever have imagined!

Together we have developed the Framework for a National Strategy on Climate, Health, and Well-Being, created a strong coalition of organisations supporting the campaign, and built a network of hundreds of active health professionals committed to campaigning for action. The Federal Opposition has committed to implementing a National Plan on Climate, Health and Well-being for Australia, and the advocacy efforts of our Climate Health Champions have secured pledges from Parliamentarians from all major parties.

But this campaign is not over until the Federal Government adopts and implements a comprehensive National Strategy on Climate, Health and Well-being for Australia. That is why we are coming together to discuss how to build our strength and plan the next steps in the campaign for action.

At this Online Webinar, we will hear from guest expert, Dr Ian Hamilton, Associate Professor at the UCL Energy Institute, on the implications of this campaign in the global context, hear an update on progress from the OCOH team, and make plans for how to win real action on this important issue in 2018.
