Climate Change Candidates Forums
In order to protect the health and well-being of all Australians, we need to build support across the federal parliament for climate and health policy. We are calling on all our supporters to help us keep climate change and health on the agenda, particularly in the lead-up to the federal election on May 18.
We need your support! Please keep the pressure up
Many politicians are not yet well informed about the links between climate change and health and there is an important opportunity to brief them and seek their personal commitment to effective action.
Several electorates around Australia are holding Climate Change Candidates Forums in the lead up to the election. These offer a great way to increase the visibility of the health impacts of climate change. We encourage you to attend and ask questions of the federal candidates - please contact us for tips on questions you can ask about climate and health at one of these forums.
